How to prepare for the holidays: pre-stock inventory & ensure shipping logistics


Top Wish merchants prepare for the holidays by storing extra inventory for their top selling products and ensuring reliable shipping logistics to avoid disruption of business. 

In order to continue operating during the holidays, Wish merchants should:
1. keep top selling products active
2. temporarily disable products that have less/no sales in the past
3. prepare extra inventory
4. secure reliable shipping logistics

If merchants choose not to continue operation, they may also set their accounts to vacation mode for the holiday break.

Please note that Wish Policies are in effect during the holidays. Here are three policies that are especially relevant during holiday breaks:


Keep top selling products active

To determine which of your products are best-sellers, please check the Sales Performance tab on your Merchant Dashboard:

Click “View Product Breakdown” to see your store’s popular items for a specific week.

You may also click “Export CSV” to download a file with this weekly product data.


Temporarily disable products with no/few transactions in the past

Prepare enough inventory in-house for active products instead of relying on your suppliers

Since your suppliers may not be available for repurchase during the holiday season, please make sure to pre-stock extra inventory before the holiday begins so you are still able to fulfill orders efficiently.

Select reliable shipping carriers to ensure proper fulfillment

Wish policies and fines are not suspended during holidays. Please make any necessary arrangements with your shipping partners to avoid any disruption of business. Please ensure that all packages are fulfilled and shipped in accordance to Wish policies.


When to use Vacation Mode

If you will not be able to properly fulfill orders during the holiday, please put your store in Vacation mode 48 hours before your holiday. Learn how to turn on Vacation Mode for your account here: Vacation Mode. There is no guarantee of sales performance before or after a store is placed in vacation mode.
